It is high time that our industry of textile communication and visual marketing set out on the path to more sustainability. It's a path that we embarked on with TYPICO several years ago and one that we take seriously. Not only because it is trendy, but because we want to live up to our responsibility as a company.
It is not without reason that our industry focuses mainly on raw materials and supplies that should be as sustainable as possible. The ingredients from which our products are made are match-winners when it comes to improving sustainability. Typico can offer the following highlights:
Vorarlberg is not only known as a “timber construction state”, but is also gaining international recognition for its sustainable architecture. We followed this principle in 2012 and constructed our company building mainly from wood. Already during the planning of our location, maximum emphasis was placed on energy-efficient construction, machinery equipment that increases the efficiency of the building and an environment that blends in with our wonderful natural surroundings. The following points make our infrastructure unique:
Packaging and logistics have a very special significance in the fields of textile architecture and visual marketing. The reason is obvious. In the vast majority of cases, we produce prototypes. Branding for trade fair stands, congresses, events, museums or facades and illuminated ceilings for special buildings. All projects have one thing in common, they are unique.
Their large image and textile productions are correspondingly different. There are no standardised packaging sizes and concepts that can be designed once for many thousands of pieces, as with a serial product. What helps is a setting of packaging materials and technology and a logistics process which meets the requirements of the market and can still be operated sustainably. Highlights are as follows:
We know that reusing textiles, aluminium systems and LED technology as often as possible makes the best contribution to greater sustainability. We also meticulously ensure that we only process raw materials that can also be recycled. Nevertheless, at the end of their service life, our products must find their way into an orderly recycling and raw materials process. That is why we make the following promises to our customers:
At Typico GmbH, we don’t just talk about sustainability, it’s part of our company mentality and philosophy. We at Typico GmbH have therefore decided to make the most of our commitment to quality and turned it into a certification process. The certification process includes a comprehensive assessment of environmental management practices and the quality management system by independent auditors to ensure that all requirements of EN ISO 14001:2015 and EN ISO 9001:2015 are met.
Certification to EN ISO 14001:2015 enables a company to minimise its environmental impact, improve resource efficiency and strengthen its image as a responsible company.
Our drive for continuous improvement and high customer satisfaction means that our customers always receive high-quality products and a first-class service.
